Summary/Objective

This Logistics Coordinator role requires a motivated individual with strong organizational and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of logistics principles and operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage logistics activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate & document transportation, including scheduling and tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Responding to contractor inquiries and referring questions to the proper channels.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Accurate tracking of internal & contracted technical teams related to installation and service dispatch locations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.
• Preparing bills and invoices.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Plan, track and document the shipment of final products according to client requirements
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency in logistics operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities.
• Provide timely and accurate reports for upper management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field OR comparable experience in similar role of more than 3 years.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, inventory management principles, and logistics software systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software applications.
• Ability to work from our Irving, TX office M-F

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
